Richard Miller writes:

Sixth Edition Unix was ported to the Interdata 7/32 at the University of Wollongong, Australia during 1976-77. This is a distribution of "Release 1.2" made on 3 June 1979.

Porting the C compiler and operating system kernel, writing device drivers and an assembler for the 32-bit Interdata architecture, and adaptation of most commands was done by Richard Miller. Other work on commands and subroutine libraries was done by Ross Nealon. The project was supervised by Professor Juris Reinfelds.
