press - compress a file
.sh SYNOPSIS
press [ - ] [ infile [ outfile ] ]
.sh DESCRIPTION
Compresses input file by replacing strings of 4 or more identical
characters by a single character and a count.
The '-' option expands a previously compressed file.

Usable as a filter.

Generally useless with UNIX text files, but saves space with
"fixed-record-length" files (e.g. imported from Interdata)
containing lots of blanks.
